It’s Been Awhile…

I know, I know. I made a commitment to post every two weeks. Well, as they say, “that ship has sailed.”

I have a good excuse: I’m working hard to finish my latest draft of Nostalgia and get it in the hands of my beta readers before the end of the month.

I have a lot more to do.

In the meantime, this week is our yearly vacation to Wells, NY and our lovely rental on Lake Algonquin. It will be our first vacation since we got Lucy.

I didn’t introduce you to Lucy?

Here she is, a rescue from the Humane Association who had belonged to an elderly couple who could no longer care for her. Can you say “spoiled”? Depending on which document you read, she is either a Mountain Feist or a Jack Russell mix. An online search tells me a “mountain feist” is more of a description than a breed–like saying she’s a “bird dog”. But Charlie showed me an online article this morning that described the characteristics of a Mountain Feist, and dang if she doesn’t fit the bill. The DNA test is at the lab so I’ll let you know.
