Roaring Waterfalls and Wriggling Trout

We took our third annual trip to Newfield a couple of weeks ago, a little later than usual but postponed because of Charlie’s broken ribs. It’s nice that we can take the pups with us when we go there–one less worry and they are getting used to traveling.

The forecast was for temps in the 60s-70s and rain. The temps kept their promise; the rain stayed away. At the park the temperatures were in the mid to upper 70s making it a great day for a hike. Later that day the sky turned dark and thunderstorms threatened but nothing much came of it.

As usual it was a short stay, but there were plenty of walks and lots of exploring. Georgie and Lucy slept most of the way home, but word is they had a good time too.
